HOLY GRAIL $3 higlighter?

The other day I was shopping at sephora and of course i couldn't help myself but look for JH champagne pop. I stared at it and my heart wanted it so bad but my wallet didn't lol. so I left it behind and headed to ULTA and I was there to get the NYX matte liquid eyeliner and they had a BOGO 50% off deal so I grabbed their ultra pearl mania just because it was $2.99 and I didn't want anything else that's more than $5.
First impression was WHY IS THIS SPILLING EVEYWHERE ðŸ˜ theeeen I swatched on my hand and the payoff came sheer BUT it gave my hands the most beautiful glow! so I grabbed a fan brush and applied it to my face and OH MY GAWWD it's MAGICAL DUST on your cheekbones. It's very fine loose powder and has no glitter chunks. I found that a fan brush works best or the morphe higlighting brush, one layer will give an amazing natural glow, but of course I BATHE in higlighter so I go all out. the longevity of these loose pearl mania powder/shadow whatever you wanna call them is amazing, the next day I went shopping i wore the one I had bought the day before and bought 4 more :) then went to school then dinner with friends and it stayed on like a champ. my friends were dying over how nice my face was illuminated when it hit the lights.
I'm so happy I didn't get the becca CP because that would've been a lot of money spent lol, maybe one day.
Any whom I got the colors: White pearl, Nude, Sky pink, Mink, and Rust.
There's 20 shades I believe and I strive on buying them all, slowly but surely :). some of the colors are blues and greens which of course can't be used to highlight but I want them as shadows.
You DON'T need to wet your brush to get it to pop on your cheeks. The way I use it is by pouring the tinniest bit on anything that plastic and flat and CLEAN and then dip my fan brush and tap off the excess and bathe in it.

White pearl is a beautiful "white" I use this when I don't apply foundation because it looks the most natural without foundation nonetheless it looks gorgeous with foundation too.

Nude is my HOLY GRAIL HIGHLIGHT. I've been looking for a cheap golden highlight that's not dark for my skin tone and I've finally found the one. Now don't get me wrong I still LOOOVE my Colourpop wisp higlighter but I have to apply it very lightly so the color wouldn't appear that different from my skin, but with the NYX one I douse myself without have an obvious strip of shimmer. It melts into my skin and looks as if it's my skin that's naturally glowy. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Sky pink is a very pale pink almost like white pearl put with pink undertone.

Mink is a tad darker version of nude which I hoped very much to work for me but it didn't, it was obvious as the color was darker than my skin but it's so beautiful. I can only imagine how it would look on tan skin.

Rust is just gorgeous, I also wish this one as well would've worked but of course it's WAY darker than my skin so I use it as a shadow. This on Dark skintones Oh Ma Gosh, I'd love to see that. It's a copper red color with gold hues when turned or in sun.

(This was after almost 9 hours!)

These will last you FOREVERRRRR! a little goes a very long way. and the bottle comes filled to the TOP!

Colourpop Highlighters ❤️‍

some Colourpop Higlighters

Affordable sparkle! I  heard about these a couple of weeks ago when I found out about the ultra matte lipsticks. I've watched many videos and saw many pics once again to pick the top ones that i wanted, but honestly i want them all now that I've tried them. Gotta save up first tho :'( school tuition  is killing me.
Anyways I picked up Road trip (tie dye collection), Smokin' whistles, Wisp, And Monster.
I LOVE THEM!! they're great whether it's the texture, pigmentation, size, and longevity.
On the website it says:
  • APPLICATION TIPS

Fingertips will provide the highest amount of coverage. Brush suggestions: Use a flat synthetic cheek/ foundation brush or a duo fiber brush; flat synthetic brush will give more coverage and the duo fiber brush will give a more sheer, air brushed effect. WHEN FINISHED: Close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time; you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Cheek Pearlized so amazzzing. Colour builds from natural to a more intense look. … Build to your heart’s desire!
  • Honestly, I'm having a hard time finding a brush that works for these highlighters because the formula is somewhat like cream but once applied to face it's powder. I used all synthetic brushes: fan brush, foundation brush, duo fiber, and tapered brush and non seemed to deposit the product properly. it'll give you the slightest sheen if applied with a brush BUT since i want an intense highlight, I DIP and SWIRL my finger in the pan then dab(not rub) on my temples, cheekbones, eyebrows, tip of the nose, and cupids bow. using my fingers seems to work THE BEST.
  • The pan size is honestly more than worth the $8, I've used it for about a week now everyday and it's still completely full.
  • I wear smokin whistles the most when I don't wear any other makeup because it gives a very healthy glow. It's a pale pink shade with little to no glitter. with that being said it's not my fav though. I love it but I have another fav.

Road Trip is a beautiful pale gold shade with slight glitter chunks, the glitter is a bit noticeable so wearing the highlight on it's own looks weird, but with foundation and everything it's not that visible.
This was lightly applied.

Wisp has got to be my FAV highlighter as of today. It's a pure gold shade and when the sun hits it, it shines so beautifully like a goddess. it's A LITTLE noticeable if you don't blend it well or at least for me since i'm pale.

Monster is just magical. it's a scary white shade in the pan but when swatched it's a pink duo chrome that shows when you tilt your head or when catches light. my only issue is, it's very ovious that you have a pink line on your cheekbones and when it's not pink, you can tell that there's a white cast but i think i need to work with it more and practice.

These last FOREVEEER, I go to school at 9 am and get back home at 6pm and it stays the same throughout the day, and mind you I live in Florida humidity level is beyond 100.
I can't wait to get my hands on the rest!

Price: $8 and you can get it from Colourpop ❤️‍

Another ColourPop Hurl

The moment I got Nillionaire, I just knew I had to hoard all of them lol. I'm relatively new in the makeup world and finding cheap products that are good isn't easy, so when I found Colourpop, it is all I have been buying for the past 2 weeks. It's like an addiction. You Think you're done with 3 eye shadows then this devil inside your head doesn't stop till you buy 703084 more thing. I watched and googles many pictures and reviews of the shadows and I just couldn't stop reading and watching everything because all their products is bomb I wanted all of them. Along with the eye shadows I got 2 highlighters one of them is limited edition.

I'll start with the eye shadows.
On the website it says:
  • APPLICATION TIPS

For maximum coverage: Use fingertip and tap shadow onto eye lid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush will work fabulously as well and is actually better for a more detailed application close to the lash line. However, your fingertips make for the most intense application. To blend: Use a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip tip of the brush into the shadow and blend with a “wind shield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow softer and more diffused (like a total pro). When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazzzing.
  • First thing first, I prefer applying it with my fingers because I don't know if it's the brushes that I use that suck( cheap elf brushes) or the brush bristles aren't suitable for these eye shadows's texture. I noticed that with my finger I get "max coverage" as they mentioned and I can get the glitter to stick better with less fall out. These shadows will go on and STAY till you take it off, won't crease, budge, or lose pigmentation. It's amazing! All you need is one swipe across the lids and the color will be very opaque.
  • The only downside that I had with these (or maybe I suck lol) is that the matte shadows are hard to blend because the formula is weird but good weird. It's like cream and when applied to skin, it dries and skin absorbs it somehow. Also, The shadows that have glitter if you try to blend them, glitter gets all over the eyelids. This is coming from a BEGINNER OPINION.
  • Their shadow vary in the finishes; There's Matte, Pearlized, Pressed pigment, Metallic, Ultra metallic.

Left to right: Coconut, Bae, So Quiche, Cricket, aaaand Partridge.

If you have bandit don't get intoxicate or the other way around because I find that once blended it looks the same
Top to bottom: Hustle, Bandit, Intoxicate, I this, and fringe.
I <3 This is more rose gold than fringe which is pale gold.

Some of the eye shadows came broken from the rough ride during shipping but I emailed Colourpop and their CS is AMAZING and so sweet. They respond super quick and immediately replaced my broken babies as they call it.
My favs are Hustle, Bae, so quiche, and honestly all of them lol.

These shadows retail for $5 each and can be ordered from colourpop website ♡

I wanna be a Nillionaire So freakin bad

ColourPop Cosmetics
My Fascination started when I saw an Instagram Pic of their new ultra matte lipsticks on Lusterlex's account. So, I decided to venture their website and watched a couple of videos and OMG their amazing just before seeing it in real. I ordered a couple of lipsticks which I intend to buy all but the website kept crashing so I was happy with what got into my cart. Before that, i added "Nillionaire" super shock eye shadow and i'm so glad I got it. its a bronzey color with gold fine glitter and has pink sparkles that can be seen when exposed to light or sun. when I opened the package I was so scared to dip my finger in, in order not to ruin the quilt print, but when I did, it was the smoothest texture I've ever swatched.

I tried using a flat synthetic brush but all i picked up was the glitter and not the pigment itself, so I'd suggest using fingers; it works so well with depositing pigment and glitter.

This has a very tiny amount of fallout but that wasn't hard at all to dust off with a brush, the only downside that i found was that when I was blending it the glitter seemed to go all over the crease.

Nillionaire Price: $6
You can get it from Colourpop website

Let me Know if you want to see colourpop ultra matte liquid lipsticks swatches, I have 15 of them :)
